On 7 June 2017, two terrorist attacks were simultaneously carried out by five terrorists belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS OR ISIL) against the Iranian Parliament building and the Mausoleum of Ruhollah Khomeini (Imam Khomeini Shrine), both in Tehran, Iran, leaving 17 civilians dead and 43 wounded. The shootings were the first terrorist attacks in Tehran in more than a decade, and the first major terror attack in the country.

These terrorists were all killed by the security forces after an operation that took several hours.

Our love thoughts and prayers are with the families of deceased people (Shahid People). Words can not express the heartache we feel.

But here in IRAN we are TOGETHER and the Iranian nation is moving forward. These fireworks that happened on 7 June 2017 will have no impact on the people’s resolve. Such crimes that indicate wickedness and at the same time humility of their agents, instigators, and perpetrators are too minor and nothing to undermine the determination of the Iranian nation.
